Doe and Fawn, On the first night of backpacking the Hoh River trail we had this doe and fawn come right by our campsite at Lewis Meadows. I followed them around for a short while and got several good images, but this is my favorite. For me, it’s a sweet moment between a mom and her baby. Image #110.382
Fawn with Spots, this little critter and her mom were so cute to watch. They just meandered by our camp not paying us much attention, obviously used to backpackers. Image #110.379
Morning Visitors, a beautiful morning in the Mount Margaret Backcountry of Washington State was made even better when these three came along. I was heading back to camp after a sunrise photo shoot when I saw these elk. Elk have returned to the blast zone of Mt St Helens and are doing extremely well and now live there year-round.
